Booters complete first practice session in Kyrgyzstan

Bangladesh National Football team, now in the Kyrgyzstan capital Bishkek to play in the Tri-nation Cup Football, had a one-and-half-hour long first practice session at the Sports City Field in Kant City there Sunday afternoon.

English Head Coach Jamie Day’s Bangladesh will face Palestine on September 5 before taking on hosts Kyrgyzstan on September 7 in the Tri-nation cup during the FIFA window.

Touring Bangladesh team will also play a friendly match against hosts Kyrgyzstan U-23 side on September 9 as part of their preparation for the SAFF Championship held in Maldives next October.

Bangladesh team , which is staying in ART Hotel in Bishkek, will also practise on Monday in two sessions –10 am to 10:30 in the morning and 3 pm to 4:30:pm in the afternoon at the same venue.

All players and officials of the Bangladesh team are in sound health.

The English goal keeping coach of Bangladesh joined the team in Bishkek on Sunday while two Bangladesh-origin national booters –Rahbar Wahed Khan (Canada) and Nayb Md Tahmid Islam (France) –will join the team Sunday midnight, said a BFF media release on Sunday.
