The Bangladesh Premier League’s eighth season finally concluded on Friday, (February 18). Comilla Victorians became victorious after defeating Fortune Barishal by one run in the championship match. Comilla Victorians reached the BPL finals for the third time and won their third title. On the other hand, Fortune Barishal competed in three finals and lost all of them. Both domestic and international players put up some impressive performances in the BPL season 8. Let’s take a look at the best individual performers at the end of the BPL 2022.
BPL Season 8: Top Performers
Six participating teams competed in a total of 34 matches. Four centuries were scored in the BPL 2022. The match between Sylhet Sunrisers and Minister Dhaka produced two centuries in phase 2. Mustafizur Rahman was the only player to take a fifer this season. Five bowlers picked four wickets in an innings once. Aftermath
Some exciting matches were witnessed in the latter stages of the BPL 2022 season. Especially the fifth phase, playoffs, and final match were very enthralling thanks to some outstanding individual performances. However, everyone is unsatisfied with the tournament’s overall organization and the lack of quality overseas players. Besides, with the exception of a few, the majority of young Bangladesh cricketers did not perform as anticipated. With these concerns in mind, the BPL officials should concentrate their efforts on making this tournament even better in the future.
