BBF Youth Leadership Summit 2021 held

The Better Bangladesh Foundation Youth Leadership Summit, 2021 was held Saturday at the Sky Ballroom of Le Meridien Hotel in the capital, marking one decade of BBF.

BBF is the official partner of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) under the Prime Minister’s Office.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque was present as the chief guest at the event presided over by Masud A Khan, Founder and Chairman of BBF.

Virtually joining the event from Turkey, the minister said the Better Bangladesh Foundation (BBF) would play an invaluable role in building a modern Bangladesh by inspiring the youth with the spirit of Bangabandhu.

He thanked BBF Chairman Masud A Khan for spreading the bright image of Bangladesh all over the world through BBF.

“Only the youth with moral values can take the society and the state to a unique height in building the Golden Bangladesh as dreamt by Bangabandhu,” he added.

Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Mustafa Osman Turan, the Ambassador of Brazil Joao Tabazara, Nepalese Ambassador Banshidhar Mishra, Acting Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Abdulla Ali Abdulla AlHmoudi , Ambassador of Algeria Rabah Larbi, and Ambassador of Korea Paksang Yip joined the event.

They praised the BBF’s philanthropic activities in Bangladesh.

Seven young leaders were honored at the ceremony.

They are Nafisa Kamal, proprietor of Cumilla Victorians, Zakir Hossain, managing director of Bangla Cars, Bangladesh’s first manufacturer, Firoz Alam, managing director of Bengal LPG, Mamtaz Begum, MP and internationally renowned musician, Nahrin Mostafa, director of Young Politician Bangladesh, Jobayer Ahmed, Director of Bangladesh Textiles Mills Association and Pathao’s CEO Fahim Ahmed.
