Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited opened its branch in Chattogram’s Boalkhali Sunday.
Moslem Uddin Ahmed, member of the parliament from Chattogram-8, inaugurated the 195th branch of the bank as chief guest.
Mohammad Abdus Salam, vice-chairman of the executive committee of the bank, directors Alhajj Ahamedul Haque and Alhajj Md Rafiqul Islam were present as special guests.
Deputy Managing Director SM Jaffar presided over the ceremony.
Boalkhali Municipality Mayor Zahurul Islam, Upazila Chairman Md Nurul Alam, Women Vice-Chairman Shamim Ara, Mohammad Azam, head of Chittagong zone of the bank, and other senior officials joined the programme.
New branch manager Mohammad Ali Khan thanked the audience.
