The final results of 42nd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination were published on Thursday.
Altogether, 4,000 candidates were recommended for assistant surgeon’s post, said a press release of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).
Meanwhile 1,919 candidates passed as non-cadre who were not recommended due to shortage of post.
Details of the results are available at PSC website: www.bpsc.gov.bd. The results can be known through text messages by typing PSC42Registration Number and sending to 16222.
To fill up the 2,000 vacant posts of assistant surgeon amid the crisis of Covid-19 situation the PSC published a circular on November 30, 2020.
Later PSC added 2,000 more posts of assistant surgeons through another notice.
