Zahid Malek advises students to become worthy citizens

MANIKGANJ, Jan 28, 2017 (BSS)- State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek said here today that Bangladesh is making remarkable progresses in all sectors, including health and education, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The State Minister was speaking at the annual prize-distribution ceremony of Manikganj SK Government Girls High School as the chief guest.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has created equal facilities for women in all fields.

Malek advised students to build themselves as worthy citizens through acquiring proper knowledge. "Educated citizens have the ability to choose the right paths" he added.

The function was presided over by Rebeka Jahan, Headmaster of the school. Monjur Mohammad Shahriar, ADC (Gen), Ranjit Kumar Mandal, Assiatant Director of Family Planning, Md. Shahadat Khondakar, UNO, Manikganj Sadar, Abdul Hamid Siddique, ASP, Manikganj and Israfil Hossain, President of Manikganj Sadar Upazila Awami League, among others, spoke on the occasion.
