Members of Rapid Action Battalion on Thursday arrested a youth with 2,350 yaba pills from the city’s Adabor area.
The arrestee was identified as Sohan Islam, 21, son late Rafiqul Islam of Faridpur district.
According to a media release from Rab headquarters, a team of Rab-2 made the arrest after conducting a drive in a house at Ring road of Adabor around 10:30pm.
During primary interrogation, the youth admitted that he has been dealing with drugs in different areas of the capital for a long time. He said he brings the yaba from Cox’s Bazar border.
Legal processes are underway in this regard, said the release.
