Bashundhara Kings and Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club earned comfortable victory in the Bashundhara Group Women’s Football League’ 2021-22 outplaying their rivals at the Bir Shreshta Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Saturday.
Bashundhara Kings earned a huge 5-0 goal victory Barisal Football Academy in the day’s first match Saturday afternoon.
National striker Krishna Rani Sarkar struck twice in the 44th and 60th minutes while national booters Ritu Porna Chakma, Sumaiya and Shamsunnahar Jr netted one goal each for the Kings in the 45+2, 85th and 86th minutes respectively.
In the day’s other match, Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club crushed Suddopuskorini JSC by 8-1 goal at the same venue Saturday afternoon.
Medio Shaheda Akhter Ripa and forward Aklima Khatun scored two goals each while defender Unnoti Khatun, Swapna Rani and Halima Akhter netted one goal each for the winners which dominate the first half by 2-0 goal.
Ruma of the losing side scored a suicidal goal to raise winners tally to eight goals.
Nasrin Begum netted the consolation for the losers.
