Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Police reached the final of the Exim Bank 29th National Men's Handball Tournament eliminating their rivals in the semi-finals at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Tuesday.
Bangladesh Police advanced to the final eliminating Bangladesh Ansar by 36-33 goals after trailing the first session by 17-20 goals in the first semis while Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) smartly booked a seat for the final outplaying Bandarban District by 39-14 goals after leading the first half by 18-2 goals.
BGB will play Police in the final on Wednesday (January 1) at 3pm at the same venue while two losing semifinalists Bangladesh Ansar and Bandarban District will meet each other in the 3rd place deciding match at 12pm on the same day.

Deputy Minister for Water Resources Ministry AKM Enamul Haque Shamim will be the Chief Guest in the final and later he will distribute the prizes.
Managing Director of the meet's sponsor Exim Bank Ltd Dr Mohammad Haider Ali Miah will be the Special Guest at the closing function to be chaired by President of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul.
