A court here on Tuesday placed two suspected members of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) on a four-day remand.
Rapid Action Battalion members arrested Anisur Rahman, 25, and Mufti Atique Ullah, 29, early Tuesday.
Md Alep Uddin, additional superintendent of police of Rab-11, said conducting a drive at Paikpara, they arrested the duo with books on militancy, leaflets and two laptops in the early hours.
In primary interrogation, they confessed that they had long been involved with the banned militant outfit and were trying to carry out acts of sabotage.
When they were produced before Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Kausar Alam's court with a 10-day remand plea, the judge granted four-day remand.
