A three-day foundation training course for the journalists organized by Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) in association with Monirampur Press Club concluded at Monirampur Pourashava auditorium here.
Director General (DG) of PIB Md Shah Alamgir inaugurated the course on December 1 as the chief guest while local Upazila Chairman Amzad Hossain Lavlu, Mayor Kazi Mahmudul Hassan and Treasurer of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Madhusudan Mondal were present as special guests.
The course was rounded up this afternoon with President of Monirampur Press Club S M Moznur Rahman in the chair. Local MP Swapon Bhttacharjee and local Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamrul Hassan were present as the chief guest and special guest respectively.
The three-day course was conducted by Shah Alamgir, Madhusudan Mondal, Chairman of Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University Dr Pradip Kumar Pande, Professor of Dhaka University Shamim Reza, Senior News Editor of Bangla Vision Abu Rushd Md Ruhul Amin and PIB Instructor Parveen Sultana Rabbi.
A total of 35 journalists from different national and local dailies joined the training course.
