Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said it
will be possible to inoculate school students against Covid-19 by the next
week.
The education minister said this while replying to a query of the
journalists marking the third research day at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib
Medical University (BSMMU) here.
“Registration of the students for vaccination is now going on”, she said,
adding that “Vaccinate programme against COVID-19 for the students will begin
immediately after the registration.”
University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Quazi Shahidullah
and Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) President Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin
spoke at the function as the special guests while BSMMU vice-chancellor Dr M
Sharfuddin Ahmed chaired it.
