A SSC examinee has been found dead at his residence in Sadar upazila of Laxmipur, police said on Monday.
The deceased is Nahid Hossain Arman, an SSC examinee from Mandari Bohumukhi High School.

Nahid’s family found his body hanging from the ceiling of their house in Mandari area on Sunday night when they return from the local chairman’s place seeking justice over a land dispute, said Tauhidul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandraganj police station.
The family members alleged that Nahid’s uncle Bachchu Mia killed him over the land dispute.
The body was sent to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital morgue around 1am today for an autopsy. Legal steps will be taken after an investigation, said the OC.
