Despite being denied by Sheikh Russell in their previous match, Bashundhara Kings are on top of the table with 58 points from 21 matches and a win over Mohammedan will help them take an unassailable lead in the 13team table, ensuring their maiden league title in debut season with two matches in hand, emulating Sheikh Jamal's feat in their debut season in 2010.

Even a draw for Bashundhara Kings might be good enough if secondplaced Abahani Limited lose points against Chittagong Abahani in another evening match in Dhaka today.

The debutants have been in fantastic form since the start of the league, having secured 19 wins 14 of those in a row along with only one draw. However, their 20match unbeaten run was ended by Sheikh Russel in their 21st match.
