A 66-year-old man died after falling from a tree at Gopalroy in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat district on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Aynal Haque of the area.
Atauzzaman Ranju, a member of No 4 ward of Kakina union parishad, said Aynal climbed a tamarind tree for on Friday afternoon.

At one stage, he fell from the tree and got injured. He was taken to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead at night.
