Nepal stormed into the final of the 6th edition of SAFF Women’s Championship, after beating India by 1-0 goal in the second semi-final at Dasharath Rangasala Stadium on Friday (September 16).
Earlier, Bangladesh crushed Bhutan by 8-0 goals in the first semi-final to step into the final.
This is the second time Bangladesh made their final berth of the tournament after 2016 when they finished runners-up conceding 1-4 loss in the final against hosts India.
Bangladesh national women’s football team’s head coach Golam Robbani Choton said his team are now on verge of the target to win the title of the 6th edition of the SAFF Women’s Championship, reports BSS.
