Kathmandu: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal said that democracy with constitutional monarchy, and recognising Nepal as a Hindu State are the appropriate alternatives of the time.
A central committee meeting of the party held today highlighted the need of changes along with good governance and prosperity as the nation’s present requirement.
The meeting also demanded the government find out facts surroundings the sale of the shares of Ncell, the telecommunications service provider in Nepal, and take further actions accordingly.
Likewise, the meeting agreed to reach with the people with ‘appropriate vision and roadmap’ necessary for the nation building, according to party spokesperson Basantman Singh Adhikari.
The party has pressed an idea for people’s elected executive prime minister, adoption of the direct electoral system for the House of Representatives and the proportional electoral system for the National Assembly, inclusion and proportional representation, liberal economic system and the
two-tier State structures, center and local-level.
