President Abdul Hamid returned home this
evening from Singapore after medical checkup.
"A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG-85) carrying the
President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 6.20pm," President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
On his arrival at the airport, the President was received by Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, the dean of the diplomatic corps in Bangladesh, the cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officials.
President Abdul Hamid left here for Singapore on December 6.
