Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Awami Swechhasebak League president Nirmol Ranjan Guha.
In a condolence message, she said, “Nirmol Ranjan Guha was a tested activist of the Father of the Nation. He was devoted to the party.”
Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League president, said while discharging his responsibilities as the president of Swechhasebak League he strengthened the party up to grassroots level.
“He had been able to win the hearts of the party leaders and activists,” she added.
The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
