Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today greeted the taxpayers, Value Added Tax (VAT) administration, officials and employees on the occasion of National VAT Day and National VAT Week.
In a message, she hoped that the successful observance of VAT Day and VAT Week with spontaneous participation of taxpayers would expedite the overall development in Bangladesh.

She said the government is working to enforce modern technology based Value Added Tax Act, 2012 in the next year.
The Prime Minister called upon all to build happy and prosperous 'Sonar Bangla' cherished by Bangabandhu by implementing Vision 2021 and Vision 2041.
