Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed today said Palestine has sought economic support from Bangladesh alongside the exiting political cooperation.
"Bangladesh has been backing Palestine regionally and internationally since long in favor of realizing rights of its people . . . now Palestine has sought economic support from Bangladesh," said the minister.
Tofail was speaking to media people after having a meeting with visiting Palestine Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki at his secretariat office.

"Now, we are seeking economic support and I believe Bangladesh would do it," stated Riyad al-Maliki.
