Bangladesh and Sweden underlined the strong partnership between the two countries and expressed the desire to further develop ties, as outgoing
Swedish Ambassador Charlotta Schlyter made farewell calls on Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs recently.
The discussions ranged from the ongoing corona crisis to the situation for the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh to the common interests and partnership between Sweden and Bangladesh, including development cooperation, sustainable business, climate and environment, human rights, good governance and labour rights, according to the Swedish Embassy in Dhaka.
Ambassador Schlyter ends her three-year stint in Bangladesh as a popular representative of her nation.
