A 35-year-old man was killed and another injured when a three-wheeler overturned in Chuadanga’s Jafarpur Jowardarpara area on Friday.
The deceased was identified as the vehicle driver, Nazmul, a resident of Natidanga village in Alamdanga upazila.
The accident occurred on Chuadanga-Jhenaidah Road in the morning when Nazmul was driving the three-wheeler home after selling corn in Dingedah Bazar.
Police said Nazmul lost control of the vehicle and it overturned before veering off the road and falling into a ditch. He was killed on the spot in the impact.
Chuadanga Sadar Police officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Mohsin said that while the driver died on the spot, another occupant sustained injuries in the accident.
