Newly appointed Chairman of the Anti-Corruption
Commission (ACC) Moinuddin Abdullah and Commissioner Jahurul Haque joined
their offices today.
“The newly appointed ACC chairman and commissioner joined their offices,”
ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told BSS.
Earlier, the government appointed Moinuddin Abdullah, the former secretary
to the agriculture ministry, as the chief of the national anti-graft watchdog
and Md Jahurul Haque, former chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication
Regulatory Commission, as a commissioner.
The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification in this regard on March
3.
Moinuddin Abdullah has replaced Iqbal Mahmood.
