Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the NC would always work for the rights and interests of labourers by addressing their issues.
In a message today on the occasion of the International May Day, Deuba has wished for happiness, peace and prosperity to all working class people in Nepal and all over the world.
In his message, Deuba has recalled Nepal's first historical labour movement taken place in 2003 BS in Biratnagar under the leadership of NC. "The very labour movement was the departure of the historical people's revolution of 2007 BS. So, it is a well-known issue that the NC and labourers are supportive to each other," the former Prime Minister stated. Furthermore, Deuba has committed to work for the promotion of working class people's rights and interests.
