Nasim describes Sheikh Hasina as role model in South Asia

SIRAJGANJ, March 30, 2017 (BSS)- Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the role model in South Asia in elimination of poverty and achieving tremendous progress in health, education and development sectors.

"We need to give her (Sheikh Hasina) more time to keep up the continuity of development spree," the minister said speaking as the chief guest at a meeting of Kazipur Cooperative Society.

State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Mashiur Rahman Ranga addressed the meeting as special guest with Acting Deputy Commissioner Abu Nur Md Shamsuzzaman in the chair.

Rural Development Federation Vice President Biplob Mahmud Ujjal, Sirajganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Abu Yousuf Surjjya, BRDB Deputy Director Khademul Bashar, Upazila Chairmajnh Mozammel Haque Bakul, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shafiqul Islam, Upazila Awami League President Showkat Hossain and General Secretary Khalilur Rahman, among others, addressed the function.

Nasim urged BNP to participate in next general elections, saying

"Join the next parliament elections We will accept the results whatever it may be."

The minister asked the BNP to shun the attitude of allegation of rigging in elections.
