‘My Father, My Bangladesh’ of Sheikh Hasina to be published at Ekushey Book Fair

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s new book ‘My Father, My Bangladesh’ will be published on the first day of Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2021 tomorrow.

The book contains translations of seven selected essays from her book ‘Sheikh Mujib Amar Pita’, said a press release.

The articles are Bangladesh wins Freedom, My Father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Memories of Tungipara and the future of rural Bangladesh, the murder of Sheikh Mujib and the attack on our young nation, the house on Dhanmondi 32 and a pilgrimage of the nation.

The book has been translated by Sunandan Roy Chowdhury, edited by Dr Rashid Askari and the cover has been designed by Sabyasachi Mistri, the release added.

The dedication letter of the book says, ‘My Father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and My Mother Sheikh Fazilatun Nesa Mujib (Renu)’.

Agami Prokashoni has published 14 books of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The books are Sheikh Mujib Amar Pita, Nirbachito Prabandha, Sada Kalo, Ora Tokai Keno, Daridro Durikaran: Kichu Chintabhabna, Bangladeshe Soiratantrer Jonmo, Biponno Ganatantra Lanchito Manobota, Amra Janoganer Kotha Bolte Eshechi, Sohe Na Manobotar Obomanona, Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad e Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Living in Tears, People and Democracy, Democracy in Distress Demand Humanity and Democracy Poverty Elimination Peace.
