‘More allocation for children in national budget’

DHAKA, Feb 08, 2017 (BSS) -Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad M Fazle Rabbi Miah today laid emphasis on more allocation for children in the national budget and proper use of allocated money.

Speaking as the chief guest at a views exchange meeting on budget allocation of children rights affairs parliamentary caucus at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, he asked authorities concerned for strengthening proper monitoring in respective ministries about expenditure of allocated money for children.

Terming the present government as children friendly one, the deputy speaker said, the government has ensured different facilities for wellbeing of children.

Fazle Rabbi Miah said also laid emphasis on enrollment, in respective union parishad, the identity of those children is being alienated from their guardians or involved working other places.

Caucus president Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, MP, chaired the meeting, was addressed, among others, by committee members Dr Enamur Rahman, Abul Kalam Azad, Shamsul Alam Dudu, Monoranjanshil Gopal, Kzai Rozy, Rajiya kajol, Jebunessa Afroj, Umme Kulsum, Lutfa Taher, Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia, Kmarunnaher Chowdhury and NGO representatives.
