Mobile therapy van service introduced at Secretariat

DHAKA, June 7, 2017 (BSS) - Mobile therapy van service introduced at Bangladesh Secretariat here for providing different health therapies for the employees twice in a week (Sunday and Wednesday).

Senior Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Dr Mozammel Huque Khan inaugurated the service as the chief guest on the premises of Clinic building of Secretariat, said a press release today.

He was accompanied by Secretary of the ministry M Zillur Rahman on the occasion.

"This service is like a blessing for the employees of the Secretariat," said Dr Mozammel Huque Khan.

Director General of Social Welfare Directorate Gazi Mohammad Nurul Kabir, Managing Director of National Disabled Development Foundation (NDDF) Kamrun Nahar Khanam spoke, among others.

Earlier, the government had introduced 32 Mobile Rehabilitation Therapy vans across the country under NDDF, monitored by Centre for Disability Services to provide different necessary services, including various therapies, hearing test, referring and counseling by free of cost, to physically-challenged and disabled people.
