Mirpur building catches fire

A fire broke out in a building in the city’s Mirpur area Wednesday noon.

According to fire service, the fire broke out on the second floor of the five-story building behind South BSCIC Co-operative Market around 1.30 pm.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after an hour.

However, no causality was reported.
