A mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Kurigram and Moulvibazar, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in its bulletin on Friday.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country from late night till morning, it said.
Besides, the Met office recorded 9.7 degrees Celsius in Sylhet's Srimangal, the lowest temperature in the country.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, as per the bulletin.
Meanwhile, the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over the country.
