Mannan urges all to come forward to establish Smart Bangladesh

Planning Minister MA Mannan, MP, today urged all to come forward to establish Smart Bangladesh to face the challenges of the coming days under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"I urge all to come forward in establishing Smart Bangladesh to face the challenges of the coming days under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he said.

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is playing a leading role in establishing a hunger and poverty free Bangladesh along with the development of mosques and temples in the moral, human and religious development of people. So, Sheikh Hasina's government must be brought to power to continue development and progress unconditionally," the planning minister said.

He said this while handing over the agro incentives free of cost among the famers at a function held in Shantiganj upazila auditorium as the chief guest with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Anwar-Uz-Zaman in the chair.

The minister handed over 10 kgs of seeds, 10 kgs of DAP fertilizer and 10 kgs of MOP fertilizer each to the beneficiaries among the 260 farmers under the incentives given by the government to produce high-yielding Aush paddy on 40 hectares of land in the upazila.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Farooq Ahmed, Agriculture Officer Khandkar Sohail Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sakina Akhtar, Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Lecturer Noor Hossain, Women Vice-Chairman Dulon Rani Talukdar, Upazila Awami League President Sitanshu Shekar Dhar Situ and its General Secretary Hasnat Hossain, among others, spoke.
