Lowest temperature recorded at 5C in Tetulia

DHAKA Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)

today said that mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and

Rangpur division and the regions of Tangail, Moulvibazar, Kushtia and Jashore

and predicted that it may continue in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am

today.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during mid-

night to morning today, while weather may remain dry with temporary partly

cloudy sky over the country, said a Met office

bulletin issued this morning.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may

rise slightly over the country.

The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 26.6 degree Celsius in Sylhet

while today's minimum temperature was 05.0 degree celsius in Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:21 pm today and rises at 6:41 am tomorrow in the

capital.
