DHAKA, Jan 16, 2017 (BSS)- Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Undertakings today urged the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) for making luggage handling management time-befitting.
The committee made the recommendation at its 31st meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with its chairman Shawkat Ali presiding, said a press release.
Committee members Nurul Majid Mahmood Humayun, Mohammad Subid Ali Bhuiyan, Abdur Rouf and Advocate Navana Akthar attended the meeting.
The meeting recommended for resolving audit disputes of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited (BBAL) and CAAB, the release said.
The meeting discussed elaborately about implementation and progress of decisions taken by the committee on BBAL and CAAB and audit disputes, it added.
Among others, additional secretary of civil aviation and tourism ministry, managing director of BBAL, ministry and parliament officials joined the meeting.
