DHAKA, Jan 3, 2017 (BSS)- The 14th session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) will begin at 4 pm on January 22 (Sunday), said a Parliament Secretariat press release today.
President Abdul Hamid summoned the parliament session exercising his power bestowed upon him by article 72 (1) of the Constitution.
The session will begin at 4 pm on Sunday (January 22) and this will be the first session in 2017, the release said.
Earlier, the 13th session of the current parliament was prorogued on December 8, 2016, which started on December 4.
Out of nine bills, five were passed in five sittings of the 13th session.
