Agastya Nanda, son of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan, is going to start acting in a full-length film. The 21-year-old actor is getting soaked in the love of Bachchan fans along with congratulations from his grandfather. Agastya’s father Nikhil Nanda is the chairman and managing director of Escort Group, an engineering company in India.
Agastya’s co-star will be Khushi Kapoor, the youngest daughter of late Sridevi, a sensational beauty and talented Bollywood actress of the ’80s and ’90s. The 21-year-old Khushi has already owned a huge fan group on the internet. Her elder sister Jahnavi Kapoor is also a well-known actress and musician. Their father Boni Kapoor is a renowned Bollywood filmmaker and producer.
Another surprise is Suhana Khan, the second child of Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Suhana is the only sister of elder brother Aryan Khan and younger brother 9-year-old Abram Khan. Joya Akhtar Directing The Archies
Joya started directing movies in 2009 with the Hindi movie Luck by Chance. She came to the attention of mainstream film fans and critics in 2011 with the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. In 2015, she co-founded Tiger Baby Films with Indian film director and screenwriter Reema Kagti. She is the only female film director to have won the Filmfare Award for Best Movie Direction twice.
Her journey on the popular OTT (over the top) platform Netflix began with the 2018 anthology film Lust Stories. The Archies movie is going to be her second work for Netflix. On April 18, 2022, she shared a picture of the first day of shooting ‘The Archies’ from her social media profile.
The Indian Version of Archies Comic
The Archies film is going to cover ‘Archie’, a popular American comic book, published in 1941. John Goldwater published it where the main characters were teenagers, drawn by Bob Montana. The stories have been broadcast as film, live-action dramas, and animation series.
This time Tiger Baby Films of Joya Akhtar and Reema Kagati is going to make a musical film in the Indian version of this comic. Sharad Devaranjan of Graphic India will also be in the co-production along with them. Nikos Andritasakis will be responsible for the director of photography of the film.
