Journalist Mamun’s first death anniversary tomorrow

DHAKA, The first death anniversary of Ekushey Television (ETV) Senior Reporter Mamunur Rashid Mamun will be observed in a befitting manner tomorrow.

Mamun, who completed Honours and Masters from Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Dhaka University, died of a heart attack on this day last year at the age of only 33.

On the occasion, a memorial meeting and Doa Mahfil have been arranged at ETV office at Karwan Bazar in the city after Asr prayers tomorrow.

Besides, friends and colleagues of Mamun have organised a memorial meeting in RC Mazumdar Auditorium at Dhaka University at 10 am tomorrow.

Relatives, friends, colleagues and well-wishers of Mamun have been requested to attend the programmes.

Mamun, who hailed from Lohagara upazila in Narail, used to cover the prime minister beat as a senior reporter.
