The Daily Ittefaq's Chalanbill correspondent and senior journalist of Tarash in Sirajganj Ruhul Amin died of a heart attack here early this morning. He was 63.
He left behind his wife, a son, three daughters, relatives and huge number of well-wishers to mourn his death.
He died at around 4 am on Tuesday at National Institute of Neuro-Sciences and Hospital (NINSH) at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
He was suffering from high blood pressure for last few days.
He was admitted to a hospital in Bogra and later shifted to NINSH on Monday.
He will be buried after a Namaz-e-Janaza at Tarash central Eidgah maidan after Zohr prayers.
Amin was a Chalanbil correspondent of the Daily Ittefaq since 1974. He was also a founding president of Tarash Press Club and advisor of Tarash Reporters Unity.
