Islamic University student dies of cardiac arrest

A student of Islamic University died of cardiac arrest on Friday morning, his family said.

The deceased was identified as Mir Mohammad Rafin, hailing from Bhabanipur village of Rajbari district. He was a master’s student in the public administration department of the university.

Family members said Rafin died on the way to the hospital following a heart attack around 9.30 am in the morning. He had been suffering from heart problems for several months.

Prof. Lutfar Rahman, president of the department of public administration, expressed profound shock at the death of Rafin.

He prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
