CHANDPUR, AntiCorruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud Chowdhury today said corruption can be stamped out from the society if everybody works sincerely.
It's possible to eradicate corruption if everybody works together sincerely, he said in a meeting with district level officials at Deputy Commissioner's Conference Room here today.
Deputy Commission Md. Majedur Rahman Khan, acting Police Super Mizanur Rahman, heads of various department, local public representatives and journalists attended the meeting.
The ACC chairman said Bangladesh is making a good progress in all sectors. In the process of economic progress a country may experience corruption to some extent at different level of development.
Corruption must be stamped out to make the development sustainable, he said.
Pointing out the hundredpercent enrolment of children at primary level the ACC chairman said it's a major progress and has set an example in the world.
No children should be dropped out at primary level and every class should be held regularly, he said adding that monitoring on attendance and classes should be monitored.
