Infinix Zero 8 has an octa-core CPU, designed with A75 and A55 Cortex structure with 2.05GHz clock speed at maximum. Turning to the chipset, you get Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T SoC 12 nm. This combination may dishearten the gamers who always prefer Snapdragon processors to MediaTek. Though G90T is not a gaming powerhouse, this processor serves great for playing the contemporary advanced level multiplayer games like PUBG, COD, Asphalt 9, etc quite smoothly at high frame rates.

However, after long-time gaming, you may experience some frame drops. Besides this, the phone might catch some heat if used constantly for lengthy hours. You may know that it is a common nature of the MediaTek processors. To get better gaming performance, you can downgrade the refresh rate from 90Hz to 60Hz. The provided Mali-G76 MC4 GPU offers great visual performance while gaming or watching media.

Inifinix Zero 8 is available in one variant: 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The powerful RAM would assist in the smooth operation of large apps as well as heavy-duty gaming software. Certainly, this is good news for gamers. Though its internal storage is quite enough for both professional and regular applications, you can expand the memory using an external microSD card.

This phone runs on the XOS 7 operating system on top of Android 10. However, the UI seems loaded with bulks of pre-installed apps and software along with some advertisements. These issues can somewhat slow down the functions of Zero 8. Don’t worry! Un-installation of less necessary apps can accelerate the performance of this gadget.

Let’s talk about the camera. The Infinix Zero 8 is blessed with 6 cameras in total, including a quad (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) rear camera series with a dual (48MP +8MP) front camera. On the rear side of this phone, a bit elevated camera bump appears with a smart diamond-shaped look. To protect the cameras you need to use the provided silicon back protector.

Infinix Zero 8 Camera Specs

Its 64MP f/1.9 prime rear shooter takes wonderful photos with pleasing softness, color boosting, and saturation. The dynamic range of the images is satisfactory with enough shadow details. Furthermore, the main shooter is capable of capturing decent photos in insufficient light conditions. Credit goes to the intelligent ‘night mode’ feature of Zero 8 that produces good quality low-light images without showing grain or excessive softness.

The provided 8MP f/2.3 ultra-wide sensor can capture average-quality photos in ample sunlight. However, a bit more detailings would have been better. Its 2MP f/2.4 Macro shooter would astonish you with clear and sharp photos. Furthermore, its 2MP f/2.4 Depth sensor can take nice portraits with proper edges and detailing of the main subject. With the rear camera, you can shoot up to 4K video clips at 30fps. It has the Gyro-EIS feature.

On the front screen, Zero 8 bears dual selfie sensors. The 48MP f/2.2 prime front-shooter takes fine images both in direct sunlight and indoor light with enough sharpness and detailing.  The 8MP ultra-wide front shooter also takes good photos. But some highlighted areas of the images may get washed up with over brightness. This sensor would help in taking group-selfies. About 1080p videos can be captured at 30fps with the selfie shooters.

Infinix Zero 8 is powered by a 4500mAh battery. Though it is a standard configuration, Zero 8 falls behind the lower-priced competitors like Galaxy M21 bearing 6000mAh batteries. Zero 8 comes with a 33-watt charger with cable.
