HONG KONG, Hong Kong shares opened sharply lower Friday as investors cashed out following a healthy threeday rally fuelled by USChina trade talks hopes.
The Hang Seng Index shed 1.15 percent, or 305.35 points, to 26,219.00.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.26 percent, or 6.77 points,
to 2,627.28, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on
China's second exchange, slipped 0.26 percent, or 3.50 points, to 1,357.42.
