Historic 7 March observed at JU

SAVAR The historic 7 March, a memorable day in the

history of Bangalis’ long struggle for freedom was observed at Jahangirnagar

University (JU) campus on Saturday amid widespread enthusiasm and in a

befitting manner.

by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a world documentary heritage.

Marking the day, Teachers-Students Centre of Jahangirnagar University

displayed a documentary on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur

Rahman and his historic speech around 6 pm on central cafeteria premises in

the campus.

The documentary highlighted various aspects of Bangabandhu’s life.

JU Pro- VC Professor Dr. Nurul Alam inaugurated the programme while

treasurer of the university Professor Sheikh Md. Monzurul Huq, acting

registrar Rahima Kaneez, director of TSC Professor Md. Alamgir Kabir,

Professor Sohel Ahmed of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department and
