DHAKA, Jan 30, 2017 (BSS) - A five-member Bangladesh hajj delegation, led by Religious Affairs Minister Motiur Rahman, leaves for Saudi Arabia tonight to sign a bilateral agreement with the Saudi government.
Motiur Rahman and Saudi Arabian Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten will sign the agreement on behalf of their respective countries on February 1 to make the hajj programme a success, said an official release this afternoon.
Besides, the visiting Bangladesh hajj delegation will also sign four/ five co-agreements with South Asian Hajj Service Sangstha (Muassasa), United General Car Syndicate, Medina (Madinah) Adilla Office and Saudi Civil Aviation Authority.
The other members of the delegation are: Secretary of the ministry Abdul Jalil, Joint Secretary (Hajj) Hafiz Uddin, Personal Secretary to the minister Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad and Minister's Personal Assistant Mohammad Abu Sayeed.
The hajj team will return home on February 7.
