Agriculturist Khaledur Rahman said the country already achieved epoch-making success in increasing crop production following pragmatic and time-befitting steps taken by the present pro-farmer government. The chief guest said the present government always put importance on keeping crop production increasing through mechanisation of agriculture, ensuring optimum use of cultivable land and latest technologies in the agriculture sector.
"Expanded use of innovative agricultural technologies has increased our food production several times in recent times despite decreasing cultivable land area already turning Bangladesh into a food exporting nation," he said.
