GIZ, ADB hold talks with ACC to fight graft

DHAKA, Feb 08, 2017 (BSS) - Delegation of the GIZ and ADB today held talks with the Bangladesh's Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for mutual assistances to curb graft.

A five-member delegation of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) headed by program chief of its Rule of Law (RoL) Promita Sengupta while five-member delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by its Vice-President (operation) Wencai Zhang met the ACC Chairman Iqbal Mahmood at its headquarters at Segunbagicha here.

Both the delegations praised the ACC for its efforts in containing graft and talked about mutual assistance to this end, an official release said.

Commissioner Dr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed and high officials of the ACC were present at the meetings.
