DMP chief urges cops to perform duties with professionalism

DHAKA, Nay 20, 2017 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah called upon the newly recruited constable to perform their professional duties with professionalism and courage.

He was speaking as the chief guest at an inaugural function of the six-day 612th orientation course for newly recruited police constables, at Shaheed SI Shiru Mia auditorium at Rajarbagh here.

A total of 194 police constables took part in the orientation course. Of them, 124 are men and 70 are women.

The DMP chief requested them to perform their duties maintaining the rules, discipline and chain of command and not to do any work that tarnishes the image of police force as we as their families.

High officials of DMP were present on the occasion.
