DHAKA, May 8, 2017 (BSS)-Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, said today that digital power and digital manpower would make the country famous like our golden expatriates, garments and UN international peacekeeping.
The minister was speaking in a city hotel as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of a series discussion on "Branding Bangladesh: Showcasing NRB, RMG and Peacekeeping.
Paying tributes to the birthday of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, Inu said Bangladesh had overcome disaster, poverty and famine to create an unprecedented era of golden expatriates, garments and UN peacekeepers. In future digital manpower would make Bangladesh's image even brighter.
The minister said that the expats, apparel and peacekeepers had brought glory to the country.
Chairman of Center for NRB Shekil Chowdhury chaired the meeting, which was also addressed by the state minister for foreign affairs Md Shariar Alam, PSO of Bangladesh Army Lt Gen Md Mahfuzur Rahman and Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Haq.
