Dhaka north city unit BNP on Monday announced the committees of its 620 units as part of a move to overhaul the party.
The committees of 620 units at 71 wards in 26 thanas have been approved, said a press release signed by its office secretary Zaiur Rahman.
It said Dhaka north BNP convener Amanullah Aman and member secretary Aminul Haque approved the committees.
Earlier on April 17 last, the committees of 70 wards under BNP’s Dhaka south city unit were announced.
BNP has recently formed committees of its different units and associate bodies as part of its plan to wage a movement ahead of the next general election demanding the polls be held under a non-party neutral government.
