Dhaka, Delhi to maintain good ties: Envoy

NATORE, Jan 30, 2017 (BSS) - Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla today said the existing good relations between Bangladesh and India will be continued.

He said this while visiting the Jai Kalibari Temple to see a project for reconstruction and renovation being implemented with the financial assistance of Taka 97 lakh from the Indian government.

Later, he handed over a cheque for Taka 19 lakh to the president of the temple Khagendranath Saha.

Shafikul Islam Shimul, MP, assistant high commissioner Avijit Chattopadhy, deputy commissioner Sahina Khatun, police super Biplob Bijoy Talukder and upazila chairman Shariful Islam were present among others.
